Instructions to install TidyRead bookmark on iPhone or iPod Touch
To avoid this awkwardness of the following steps, it is better to install TidyRead bookmark much more quickly and easily, simply install the bookmark in Firefox or Safari on your computer, then synchronize your bookmarks to your iPhone or iPod Touch with iTunes. Otherwise you can follow the below steps to install TidyRead bookmark.
Step 1: Bookmark this page
- Tap the Add Bookmark button (the "+" icon) in Mobile Safari's address toolbar.
- On the "Add Bookmark" screen, tap "Save".
Step 2: Edit the bookmark
- Tap the Bookmarks button (the book icon) in the bottom toolbar, then tap "Edit".
- Tap the "TidyRead" bookmark that you just created.
- Tap the address field (beginning with "http://www.tidyread.com/mobile.php?").
- Slide your finger to the left so the field scrolls all the way to the beginning.
- Position the cursor to be between "/mobile.php?" and "javascript:".
- Delete everything before "javascript:", then tap "return".
- If so, you're done! Tap "Bookmarks", then "Done", then "Done" again to return to this page.
Step 3: Use the bookmark
Now, whenever you're on a page you'd like to TidyRead, simply bring up the Bookmarks menu and tap the "TidyRead" bookmark. Then you should see the reformatted page by TidyRead.
